Shoot it

Video production

Commercial, corporate and brand video production in Pittsburgh, PA

Commercials, brand films and the stuff companies actually need.

We plan it, light it, shoot it and cut it. Two people who have done this for fifteen years, plus a crew we trust when the job gets bigger.

What’s included

Most projects include everything from the first idea to the final file:

  • Planning: the creative approach, scripts or interview outlines, shot lists, locations and scheduling
  • Production: cinema cameras shooting 4K and 8K, lighting and sound, plus drone or FPV when the story calls for it
  • Post-production: editing, color grading, sound mixing, graphics and captions
  • Delivery: versions for your website, social channels, presentations or broadcast

PJ directs and shoots. Chelsea handles design and motion graphics. When a job needs more hands, we bring in a crew we trust, and you still deal with us.

How it works

  1. A first conversation. You tell us what the video needs to do and who it’s for. We ask about budget and timing early so nobody wastes time.
  2. A plan and a quote. The approach, schedule and costs go in writing before anything is booked.
  3. Pre-production. Scripts, interview questions, locations, shot lists and call times.
  4. The shoot. A small, efficient crew that keeps the day moving, so your people can get back to work.
  5. Edit and review. You see a cut, send notes, and we refine it.
  6. Delivery. Final files in every format you need.

Typical projects

Commercials and brand films like Rather Be Strong for Dick’s Sporting Goods and The Islands for the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium. Corporate video like Colorful Communities for PPG. Documentary work like Creator Spaces for The Andrew Effect Foundation. And testimonials, product videos, training content and events like Opening Day for the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs.

Questions people ask

How much does a video cost?

Every project is quoted from its scope, mostly how many shoot days, locations and people on camera it needs, and how much editing and animation follows. The contact form asks for a rough budget range so we can suggest what fits, whether that’s a single-day shoot or a full campaign.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the project. A simple piece can come together quickly; a campaign with several deliverables takes longer. Tell us your deadline on the first call and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s realistic.

Do you only work in Pittsburgh?

We’re based north of Pittsburgh and do most of our work around western Pennsylvania, but we’re available wherever the story takes us.

Can you work with our agency?

Yes. We’ve been lucky to work alongside some of the region’s best agencies, and we’re happy to shoot to an agency’s creative or pick up footage that already exists.
